I'm wondering something...I have a lot of friends who have kids and some of their husbands are great. For those people, single parenting isn't easier. But for others, it seems like they have an extra kid in the house with their husbands who don't do anything aside from go to a job and do occasional fun dad events like going to the zoo or sports. Is it easier for those women to become single parents? I am wondering this myself, because the main complaint seems to be that money is tight with single parents. If it isn't, and your husband is like a kid himself, maybe it's easier single parenting.I've been wondering this a lot recently because my husband won't change. I make enough to support everyone and it seems like we'd be better off with him taking the kids on the weekends and me getting a break. Is this a dirty secret of single moms, that it's actually better? What are the pros and cons I'm not thinking of when I think about splitting us up? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2wwcveW
