I have a 4 year old, and every night I tell him a story of Folklore, but I've noticed that I'm often changing elements of the story to better suit his innocent mind. I also listen to the Myths and Legends podcast to get stories from there, but I encounter the same issue. Damn Folklore can be so in depth sometimes that it isn't fun for the child.
