When my daughter was just under 3, my ex moved back to her home country along with my daughter. Since then I have maintained an excellent relationship with my daughter. We see each other every 2-4 months and spend few days/weeks together. We live in two different countries in Europe. Some times I fly to visit her and other times she flies to visit me. She has been flying solo since she was 6 :-)We speak on Skype about 5 times a week, for 1 to 2+ hours each time. Over the years our plays have evolved many times. I used to be My Monkey puppet, an evil pirate captain Jojo, then her little sister, her school friends etc. Lately, she like to be a teacher and I assume charactors of various students in class. She has no siblings and probably that's why she wants to speak to me all the time. I enjoy talking and role playing with her and this gives me a lot of insights into what's going on in her mind. However, as now she is reaching 11, I find it hard to come up with role play ideas and scenarios. Also, I am by nature a very quiet person, so I find it hard to keep the conversations flowing.I would really appreciate some thoughts. How can I continue to keep our plays interesting. Do you know of any ideas or resources that can help me? Also, any educational games we can play? Basically, I need ideas.Thank you for reading my post. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2IyLjTo
