Ok so about 8 and a half months ago I found out my girlfriend was pregnant. I was shocked but excited at the same time. So fast forward to two weeks ago and my girlfriend gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. But there's one part I left out. We're both 16. I was able to get a job to pay for a lot of the bills but we still need some help. My girlfriend has decided to not get a job and to take care of the baby while I'm at work. I'm so excited about this because I've always wanted kids but it's so weird. It's like I just stepped into adulthood while I'm still only 16. My girlfriend's parents support her but my parents want nothing to do with the baby and refuse to pitch in anything. So we're struggling but it will turn out ok I guess. The only thing that is weighing me down is that I'm like terrified. I'm all of the sudden responsible for this fragile little baby and I'm going to be a part of it's life forever. I'm sorry if I'm rambling I'm just so overwhelmed. If anyone could help me out with this it would be awesome. Thanks. via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2L1YpdK
