When does one wipe their own ass - With a Bum Gum (serious)

Hi Folks, I have just been reading This Thread on Reddit (When does one wipe their own ass), and you're all on about toilet paper/wetwipes. Which is great and interesting to read (We both grew up with paper too, back in Europe).So here's my query as the father (and her mother next to me here) of a child who will be potty training within the next year or two. Do you have similar advice for potty training using Bum Gums?As a couple of Westerners living in South East Asia, we use (and strongly agree with the use of) Bum Guns (Here is a google image link incase anybody is unsure what I mean) - Basically a mini-me shower head with some added water pressure in a good establishment/home.​Thanks for your input.
