My kids gets invited to a bunch of birthday parties and if we don’t know a specific gift theme-we give family oriented, age appropriate board games. With a gift receipt.After a few times my wife questioned this. Saying it’s not what kids want to open.But I look at my own kids’ birthday haul and it ends up being a lot of the same toys/stuff.
