How many hours do you think a 16-year-old should work?

My son is 16 and just got his first job. He is scheduled to work 17.5 hours the next three weekends. They would also like him to work 44 hours in the summer. This seems excessive to me. He isn’t driving yet and has no interest in driving right now. He has no real reason to have a job other than to just have one. What do you think? via /r/Parenting http://bit.ly/2ZrGNuT
