Husband cannot deal with crying baby

I want to start by saying my husband is a good dad and he helps out so much with our daughter and house work and providing for us. However, he cannot deal with a crying baby/ tantrum throwing toddler. When his patience is low (which is often) he will end up screaming at our daughter to stop crying and then leave the room screaming/slamming doors, essentially having a tantrum himself. He will then be cranky and shut us out for the rest of the day. It has been getting better as our child matures (she’s 2.5) but still happens more than I would like. We are having a second baby and I am concerned for my husbands mental health in dealing with 2 kids, as well as how I will handle both kids by myself when 1 or both are crying.I feel like this is something ingrained in his brain, as even before having kids he would get angry if he heard a stranger’s baby cry (for example at a restaurant). His mom says he was like that growing up too.Looking for advice on how we can cope and/or reassurance that other dads are the same way and I’m not alone. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2QxOhrU
