It’s just come out that I’m the biological father of a two year old girl who so far has known her mother’s husband as her dad, and to be fair he is since he’s raised her and I respect that. Now that it has come to light that I am her father I want to be a part of her life. I’m not sure how to introduce myself and how to handle my name and/or a familiar.I don’t plan to replace him and he will still be there raising her from day to day. I live a few states away and would be visiting periodically and calling and video calling and such from what we have discussed.Anyone have any ideas or stories that may help? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2NqizPw
