Our daughter has a wonderful temperament. She's a happy, healthy baby with no physical problems, but she simply does not like to sleep. I know overnight this is to be expected - on a good night, from 9pm to about 8am she will sleep around 8 hours (broken up). But during the day, we can't get her to nap.We use a white noise machine, we make the room nice and quiet, we make sure she's well-fed and clean before putting her down... but she just doesn't go to sleep in the crib. She will either stay awake, cooing and wriggling, or (after 5-10 minutes) start fussing and then bawling. We've tried bouncing, swaying, car rides / walks but she stays awake for all of it.The ONLY thing that works right now is wearing her in a sling and walking/bouncing, but this is pretty hard on my back. I can't do it for that long (45-60 mins at a time tops) and we're concerned that if she ONLY sleeps while worn, it's going to be even harder to associate the crib with sleep. Not to mention she is quickly outgrowing it.Please tell me there's something we're missing... via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ptoKDR
