What rules do you have regarding internet usage and devices?

Hey there, Im trying to see what rules other parents have put in place regarding their children using the internet and devices.I try to limit screen time aswell and my 7yr old is only allowed to use her tablet in the family areas e.g. lounge room, dining and kitchen aswell as when we are travelling long distances. Also she isnt allowed on the internet(she doesnt have the password either) unless myself or her dad are there to supervise, we dont hang over her shoulder but I do like to be able to tell her when something isnt appropriate because she is really prone to nightmares and scary games or Netflix shows mean sleepless nights filled with tears.Up until a few days ago I would never have wondered about other people but my bestfriend has made it clear she thinks we go really overboard with our rules.
