So my oldest is 8 (9 in March) and has always been the most difficult of my 3 children. At 8 we were really expecting things to be a little easier with him but he seems to not "develop" in certain areas.I know each child is different but nothing ever seems to "go in" with him.Example he has been taking his inhaler for over 2 years now (he has bad asthma) and he has never in the 2 years of taking it remembered to take it once. I remind him every morning and every night to take his inhaler yet he still doesn't remember. He always "forgets" to flush the toilet, he always "forgets" to turn lights off after constant daily reminders. He "forgets" to have drinks and "forgets" to eat. He is forever leaving his things in school because he "forgot" them. He can watch a film and instantly forget what happened in the film. He comes home from school and can't remember anything hes done. He hurts himself (mostly) in school and "Forgets" how hes done it. We are really starting to worry as his parents as he takes no responsibility for anything.Maybe its just his age and things will get better but I'd love to hear from other parents who've had similar children and they have gotten over the "forgetfulness". via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xldRWk
