At swimming lessons today, my daughter (10) and myself (mom) are entering the ladies change room behind another mom and her six year old son. I politely tell her that's there's a universal change room available for such a situation. The pool facilities are newly renovated and I figured she hadn't noticed them. Right away, she gets super hostile and says, "I know, I saw it." I asked her why she wouldn't use it since it's intended for situations where mom's are bringing their sons or vice versa." She's says, "My son's six. Why don't you mind your own business?" Then she storms off into the universal. I was left taken aback and embarrassed of her public outburst in front of the children and her unwarranted hostility towards me.My question is, if there's a universal change room available, are parents obliged to use it? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2yXN1Jk
