I wish my children didn't have to be exposed to the horrors of this world

My 12-year-old son and I were at a church gathering tonight. Someone asked about our highs and lows this week. I made a gentle reference to the 58 people who died in Las Veagas, and my son corrected me that it was 59. I know he can deal with this tragedy on some level, but it breaks my heart to know that he is aware of the evil in this world. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2wA6R8x
