Hi guys, I need opinions and help with an irresponsible mother. We are single parents, have shared parenting and have zero issues with almost every aspect of it, but there is one thing I keep catching my son's (5yr old) mother doing: exposing him to gore and horror themes often. Like: 3 times when picking up my lil buddy she was watching "Saw" in the room with him, and couple other times other rated R horror movies. Now with Halloween around the corner she keeps saying how she's gonna take him to a hunted house. I've addressed the issue with her multiple times, but she always blows me off (laughs , says she won't do it anymore and a week or 2 later I catch her doing same stuff). This is a person with an 'early child education' background !! I'm not one to be against horror movies, but 5 yr old watching 'saw'?!? A big part of the problem is her attitude, she never ever listens or respects anybody or considers peoples opinion who are older/wiser than her ( her or mine parents etc ).
