Grandma keeps giving our sons health supplements.

We are lucky to have my parents living only 15 minutes away from us - my wife is at home with our kids most the time, but every Wednesday our sons (18 mos and 3 yrs) spend the morning with grandma while she does a bit of bookkeeping for a friend.I'll preface by saying Grandma is very caring, wouldn't do a thing to hurt the kids, etc. However, she's the highest ranking MLM consultant in our state for a healthfood company, and she's extremely passionate about the "foods". I don't use the products myself, but I know many people have found benefits from them. In the past, she's given the boys health shakes or bars, without our explicit permission. This upsets my wife, since she is skeptical about the products; I'm more concerned about her doing things that we haven't approved of.I've asked her in the past not to give those products to the boys, and to communicate with us anything that we should know about that might have happened while the boys are with her. This morning, our oldest was a bit feverish when we dropped him off at grandma's, and she was given instructions to give him his fruit snacks and plenty of water. This afternoon, after the kids came home, our oldest said that grandma gave him "sniffle juice". This got our attention, so I texted my mom. Sure enough, she'd given him a tiny, tiny amount. I asked if she gave it to our youngest. She said, "Yes, he begs for it and can't get enough of it. Would you want grandma to give him candy instead?"I'm tempted to cut off those weekly visits for a few weeks - it's not necessarily the health foods, it's more the fact that she's disregarding our requests and not informing us about what's going on. Thoughts on this?Tlk;dr - Grandma is giving our boys health suppliments without telling us and against our wishes. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2fKpLCT
