Our 21 month old is capable of drinking from any cup. He has no trouble drinking from a normal open top adult cup, straw, sippy...etc Our issue is we frequently find him "painting" where he upturns the cup and defeats whatever leak-proof mechanism exists and draws with the contents. The only cup he is unable to defeat at will is this disney slim line cup. I am worried however, that because of the hard nipple and suction action required, it is essentially going to give him the same pallet issues as a bottle would. How do I stop him from defeating these cups and get him to a point where we can trust him full time with a more suitable cup for his age? I am aware this is pretty much a behavioral issue, but I'm out of ideas on how to handle it.Am I worrying too much about what cup hes using and just let it go? Will this cup destroy his life? I dunno. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2xiDWpC
