I really need advice. So we started Montessori for my 18 month old last week. This is first time we ever started any kind of school. He has never been in day care. Always stayed home with grand parents. Now I understand at this age, he has anxiety of being left alone. Week 1 was ok because we took him to the montessori and explained him that grandma will come pick you up. He cried a lot which I understand all kids do. Week 2 and he starts crying the moment I put shoes on him at home. All the way fighting to get into car seat into the car. The drive is almost 30 mins to school. Crying all the way. I just gave in and brought him home back to be watched by grandma. My husband became very mad at me that he will now know to cry out of school every time. So I did a disservice to him. What should I do?Let him cry to school and eventually he will settle?Should I not go to drop him off? My in-laws can go drop and pick him up. But this situation is only temporary like for another six months. I feel it will spoil his expectations?Worst take him out of school? He is also very little for his age. 19 lbs at 19 months. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2fAXGhE
