My 5 year old threw a chair at school today

My son started Kindergarten this year. He did not go to a preschool because it is not required where we are and we did buy some work books, extra large pencils, and tab paper to work with him to get him ready. Today is the 14th day he has been in school and almost everyday we get a report that he was non compliant, through a tantrum, screamed, yelled...you get the idea.Everyday we talk with him about his behavior, ask if any other kids in his class act like that and he says no. We have tried multiple different levels of discipline and nothing gets through. We have stopped corporal punishment as we feel that was doing more damage than anything, even though it was the last resort. The teacher told us within his first week she thinks he may be special needs and we are working with the school to get him evaluated and have an appointment with his pediatrician as well.My wife and I have no idea what to do. Nothing is working in correcting the behavior. Time out, taking things away, rewarding good behavior, spanking, restricting play time outside. Any advice would be much helpful. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2fHKM1w
