Our oldest is 3 years away from a drivers license, but my spouse and I were surprised by our different opinions of a car for a teen driver. Since it's not an urgent problem, we thought it would be enlightening to poll other parents. One of us thinks that if a teen gets a car to drive, it should be a beater car. We have a manual transmission hatchback that our kid could inherit. One of us thinks that a teen driver should drive a car with all possible safety features: backup camera, alarms, etc.One of us was thinking that our kid needs to learn to pay attention and drive without relying on technology. The other believes that our kid should have every possible device to ensure they stay alive. It was a remarkably spirited debate. We thought it would be fun to poll the Reddit parents. What is your opinion? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2tXR02l
