I never thought I'd run around the house celebrating poop

My first child, who's now almost 3 months old, had such bad constipation and was in so much pain yesterday. It took forever for her father and I to figure out what was wrong since she is a very calm and rarely fussy baby. Her little tummy was rock hard and it broke my heart hearing her cry in pain for hours on end. She hadn't pooped all day yesterday. She couldn't eat barely, let alone take a nap for more than 5 minutes. We tried a warm bath, tummy massages, tummy time, and our last resort was a Q-tip with vaseline up her bum. She ended up crying herself to sleep last night before even getting out of the bathtub at 11 at night (she usually goes to bed at 9-10 pm). This morning, she seemed happier and less fussy, but no poop yet. Around 11 this morning, I was running around the house letting everyone know "SHE POOPED! SHE POOPED!! YAYYYY!!"These are the types of things that no one tells you about when it comes to parenting. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2vDKaT0
