Does anybody else get jealous of not being the child's favorite?

I feel very, very guilty about these thoughts. My daughter, 7, is MUCH more loving, caring etc. toward my wife. She won't let me do anything for her, hates being alone with me, and routinely states how Mommy's her favorite.I know it may be a phase, and I should be happy she's happy and healthy, but it's such a hard to live with sometimes. She doesn't know she's hurting me and I obvious can't say more than "hey, it makes daddy sad when you say that".Moreso than asking for advice, I want to know if I'm alone. I have spoken with my brother, a father and the most competitive person in the world, and he said his children go through phases and it's never bothered him.
