Our house burned down earlier this week, everyone is okay, but we lost everything and are staying with family. All of our kids are dealing in different ways, and we have a counseling appointment next week, but our 4 year old son has suddenly started calling us by our first names instead of Mommy and Daddy. It's like a 75/25 split, with him calling us our first names 75% of the time and the other 25% calling us Mommy and Daddy. It HAS to be related to the fire, nothing else makes sense. Anyone been through this, or have any advice? We can't get into the counselor until next Friday, so we're sort of hanging in the wind until then. via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2v61Rse
