Due to a series of very unfortunate events social services showed up at our house at the worst possible time. Due to these events my daughter was taken. She is not abused, she has never been. My husband and I were away and my in-laws allowed the house to get extremely messy like apocalyptic levels and although we had been staying with her godfather we were at the house when social services showed up. Because the report was put up against my husband and I by my mother who hadn't seen her in over a year they took her.None of that is the point of this, our lawyer has said it would be a bare minimum of six months before we get more than two visits per month. I am in hell. Everything I am reading makes cps seem like monsters.
