Just found out my 4 year old has asthma.

I'm going to try and sum everything up as quick as possible. My 4 year old was diagnosed with having asthma yesterday. She's had a severe cough for the past 2 years that comes and goes at night and when shes physically active. I've taken her to express care and her primary physician over 10 times in the past 2 years due to her cough. She would cough so much she would throw up. The doctors would tell me there wasn't anything they could do and to just give her cough medicine. Well obviously that didn't work. I finally took her to a different doctor yesterday. She informed me my daughter has asthma and it should of been diagnosed the first time I told her doctor. And basically it shouldnt of went on for 2 years of me trying to find answers. Now no one in my family has asthma so I'm not really familiar with it. She seems to be doing alot better on the albuterol. Is there any advice anyone could give me on a child having asthma? Is there any activities or anything I should be cautious of? Thanks! via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2qkLZPg
