My husband and I almost killed a boy while driving. Should I try to find the parents?

My husband was driving our family and I back home. Along the way there was a pair of boys (I assume brothers) that almost got hit by us as they attempted to walk in front of our car.We got very shaken up and I decided to pull the dash cam footage of it. I have a pretty decent shot of the older boy that pulled the younger out of danger. Younger boy I would say is no older than 10 while the older looks to be 14-16 years old.I'm just so grateful that older boy was there to save the younger. I really am not ready to have a child's death on our hands (even with it being an accident). Should I try to find the parents? I want to thank that older boy for being there.I'm sure it's best to just leave it be, the boys have easily learned a very scary lesson today. But as parents, would you want to know? As the older boy, would you want to be thanked for saving the other's life? As a parent myself, I have no idea if I would want that contact or not (still just spinning from the fear). via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2r2fOpg
