Forgive me if this is completely normal, neither my husband nor I have much experience with young kids. In the last couple months my son has started telling stories and singing songs he’s made up (yay! Huge progress from him being delayed in speech!) but his stories seem to focus on super heros bamming bad guys, dinosaurs fighting each other, monsters “deading” people. He doesn’t seem anxious about any of this and tells me his stories are good stories. He is the most gentle, loving, patient kid ever. Many friends and his daycare provider have said the same thing. He’s incredibly attentive to his younger sister and doesn’t hurt others. I know he has had a bit of exposure to these themes from TV and movies. We limit his screen time and pick kid friendly options and daycare seems to do so as well but even benign Disney movies still have villains...Anything to worry about or do? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3bov1Xy
