Dealing with Depression

My 12 year old is not only showing signs of depression, but has come to me about feeling this way. We moved out of state at the beginning of her 6th grade year and she is at the end of her 7th grade year in a new school. She is having a really hard time adjusting. She has a handful of friends here but she says her old friends were the only thing making her happy. I'm so thankful that she feels like she can talk to me, so I want to do the right thing here and find her help. I know a therapist would help. She has even asked to see one. I'm just not sure we can afford it out of pocket. We make too much for Medicaid and not enough for insurance and the out of pocket cost for therapy seems like it would break us.What can I do to help her cope with this change? Are there resources that will help me get her the help she needs more affordably? I am just at a loss on where to start. Any advice is welcomed. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3aufdCI
