So after asking this question I realize it's sometimes a common thing....anyway...My husband and I found out the gender of our first child a week and a half ago. We have no previous children. I never expressed a preference in any way, shape, or form, because I DO NOT have one and neither does he. Yet whenever I tell family or friends the gender they apologize to me. I imagine this is only going to get worse when we start seeing people in person. It has really put a damper on things for me that people think I am disappointed when I am not and my biggest question is WHY they would ever think this. Has anyone gone through anything similar?I am also due the same month our grandmother passed away and everyone is being negative about that, but that's another problem. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2WPkT63
