Help me understand why buying different amounts of something affects it being eaten...


Why, if I buy singles of something, does it get eaten the same day I purchase it, but if I buy multiples, it ALL gets wasted???i.e., strawberries. One pound of strawberries is eaten the same day I buy them, but if I buy TWO one pound things of strawberries, they BOTH end up getting thrown away because they go bad.This also holds true with milk, salad, bananas, etc.I'll be over here eating strawberries, bananas, and salad in bulk if you need me.
