The other thread was getting pretty bogged down. We're still keeping a lot of Coronatalk off the main feed to preserve a sense of normalcy - it can be overwhelming to see the same topic over and over.First things first...What can you post here? General chit-chat, lockdown/homebound/work-from-home/school-from-home/virtual-everything topics, general queries about Coronavirus topics. Requests for resources (though, please no begging - sub rules still apply). No medical or legal advice!I have moved the links from the old MegaThread (which is still available if you really wanna use it) to a Google Doc:➡COVID-19 MegaList ππ§‘ππππ⬅>ETA on 26 March< Just a quick reminder that the MegaList is getting updated as people contribute new links.>ETA on 22 March< I am updating this list regularly! Any time I come across new, helpful information I add it! I just added a bunch of food links...for families that need to prepare more meals at home, for families that may already be struggling and trying to stretch the food they have, or just to give you some new ideas in case you're already bored with your menu.I did my best to attribute recognition for those sharing links. If I didn't - From the bottom of my shriveled, black heart - thank you! I really do appreciate every bit of help people have offered. The MegaList is a variety of links from activities, education, random stuff I found (like live-streaming stuff), and links contributed by many many users! Here are some topics to get you started:Having trouble with the kids?Having trouble with new "co-workers"? (That bitch Kevin is not rinsing his mugs!)Day [...] of lockdown/quarantine...This is how we're adjusting to a "new normal"...Can you grow your own toilet paper? (Actually, yes.)Teachers should be paid a billion dollars! If Henry Cavill dies can I throw myself into his open grave? (Sorry? Gallows humor is starting to set in at the Xeno house!)Get started, have a chat, let's be helpful humans. ππ§‘πππππ§π¦π ✨(Quick edit/note...As a former homeschooled kid...don't worry about forcing your kids into 6-hour "school days" during this time. For most elementary kids "school" is 60-120 minutes of total learning time...middle school about 2-3 hours...high school about 3-4 hours! Don't worry about filling the entire day with structured learning.) via /r/Parenting https://www.reddit.com/r/Parenting/comments/flffv8/new_improved_life_is_weird_covid19_megathread/?utm_source=ifttt
