My almost 16 month old doesn't really want to walk. She's taken her first steps and we feel like she can walk, she just doesn't want to. If she's just barely holding the tip of my finger, she can run across the room with me, but the moment we're not making contact, her legs freeze up and turn to jelly, so she just sits on the floor. She'll also explore and chase the dog while pushing her walker and seems very comfortable standing up. She also is a very good cruiser along furniture. The doctor says it's nothing to worry about until she's 18 months, but as a parent, when all your friend's kids are walking around 10-12 months, it's very hard not to worry.Any tips on getting my 16 month old to get past this psychological barrier? Or should I just let her be and stop worrying? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/33L1J2I
