Do I sound greedy??

I am 15 weeks into my first pregnancy. (40yo) We decided to move to a smaller town where my bf family lives. I don't think that I will be having a baby shower as most of my friends and family are scattered across the Midwest. I want to start a baby registry (or 2) to help with some odds and ends.
