My 1st grade son is complaining that he's too hot in his classroom, especially in the afternoon. I've been there myself on days of class parties and it felt stuffy and miserable. There's no thermostat that I've seen (maybe it's not in plain view?) but I'd guess 80 degrees. The problems seems to be both on warm and cold months and the classrooms are a bit small so it just traps all that heat. I've seen that the teacher opens the window some days but that won't work if it's hot outside. I'm not sure what else to do except make sure he wears the lightest t-shirts that he owns. It's a private school that we pay tuition for and it's in an older building.(edit: he says that when he told the teacher he was too hot, she said, "well that's just too bad".) via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2TvovqF
