My 2 year old daughter has sensory issues and will only eat a few different solid foods. Mostly plains cookies, crackers, and chips. Anything crunchy, dry, and crispy. She also reacts to stress by gagging like something is stuck in her throat (Its never choking). Sometimes, if she does it for long enough, this will lead to her vomiting up a mouthful or if she ate recently a whole meal. My wife and I disagree on whether we should feed her another meal later in the day after this happens. Shes not vomiting because shes sick shes vomiting because of her sensory issues. She will gag just because she doesn't want to be in her high chair any more. A lot of the time when she gags like this she hasn't had anything put into her mouth for over a minute. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2UznP3B
