My child just started kindergarten. In less than three weeks, the same kid has pulled my kid’s hair, pinched her, kicked her, hit her with a chair, crumpled up her art work and spit on in her face. He’s sent her to the nurse twice. Once, I’m told was an accident (head butting her) so I didn’t include it. He also tells her bad words and tells her that she needs to do bad things with him, whatever that means.I’ve talked to and emailed the teacher several times. I feel as if they’ve dismissed my concerns. Other than to say she doesn’t seems “happy” in class and that he has some special needs. They said they’d keep him away from her but he sit by her at lunch and spit on her during indoor recess.I feel for this kid who has needs but I’m scared for my child and how it seems to be escalating. I’ve talked to the principal and she’s mostly dismissed me as well. But my kid comes home every day and says she’s scared of this kid and had a bad day because of something he did.I’ve lost trust in this school and I don’t know what to do to keep my kid safe. It doesn’t feel fair to her to send her back to a place where she gets spit on and hurt. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2LqRfgi
