Many years ago when I was a single mom and struggling to support my kids on my own, kindness of strangers gave my kids a Christmas that they would not have had otherwise.Today while I was at Walmart a mom and her two boys were in line behind us. Glancing at her she had a few food items that were generic, very low price, the young boy in the cart was having a rough day and mom just looked ready to go home and relax. Her older son was behaving so nicely and helpful.I grabbed a gift card and had the cashier put some money on it. When we were finished checking out I gave the boy the gift card and told him to take care of his mom with it. He smiled and turned to his mom.I hope mom was able to go get other things she needed.I’ve done other little things to pay it forward, never something so bold though. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2NRTMTm
