My LO is 9 months and he is CRAZY about putting everything in his mouth. Anywhere, anything, all the time. I know it is normal for some kids, but I am sad about how this affects and restricts a ton of fun things we could do! I can't put him down on grass, sand, rocks, anything, he would just feast on the ground... In his bath, he leans to drink water and sucks on the face towels... I see some fun activities to do online like playing with pompoms, sensory noodles, fake sand, plasticine - even the edible ones - he would just eat it hands full. I can't put him near paper, cardboard boxes, plants, keys, shoes, toilet paper, you name it. He eats my hair, my clothes, charging cables (yes, dangerous!), even though he eats and drinks well at meals. I give him tons of teething toys but they are not interesting anymore. Am I alone in this? When does this phase ends? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2nd69OR
