My youngest had her birthday party today, lots of water fun, food and family! I sent the invitations out three weeks before the party.... some how this has stuck in my head as the proper way to do things? Idk maybe I read a miss manners or made this up I could google but not going to, it’s three weeks in my head.So we ended up with 4 RSVPs ( and all 4 showed up yay!) but here’s the thing my first one was the Monday after they went home, my second was two weeks later, my third was two days before the party. My last was at 1030 last night Lmao. She had a blast her friends didn’t want to leave, and my ex was the host with the most since I’m extremely antisocial. But next year I will not be in tears because the invitations didn’t come in time and I had to got to Walmart at midnight, next year I will say fuck it it won’t matter if I send them out a month a week or day in advance. Next year I will not stress about it, and also next year I will remember this year and how it didn’t matter “only” four friends showed up because she had the best time with those four friends! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2AAxe1x
