My wife and I have the option to go on a free alaskan cruise but are unsure if we should go.

My wife won a free 7 day cruise from a drawing at her work. The cruise is all paid expenses from may 12th-19th for 2. Now under normal circumstances it would be a no brainer. I'm able to get work off and so is she. BUT heres our dilemma, my wife just had a baby a month ago. The baby will be 2 1/2 months old then and cruise ships dont allow infants under 6 months old due to inadequate medical facilities. So the obvious question is this. Would it be wrong to go on the cruise and leave the baby with her grandparents for the week? We asked them and they're excited for the opportunity. It wont be a financial burden if we take it or decline. But it's a damn hard opportunity to pass up. So were just unsure if we should proceed or not.Side note: I'm not looking for people attacking our readiness and ability to be parents. So any comments and opinions given, please, wed like a well thought out answer without judgment. If you feel the need to judge or attack us for considering this, please forward your opinions to your own high horse for processing. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2K5wZU1
