We live in Japan and my 16 year old son got arrested for stealing alcohol. We are military and he stole the alcohol from an off-base store. My son has been the most perfect son up until a few months ago when we moved here. I realize that the move might have affected him in some ways and his need to fit in got him caught up with the "wrong crowd". My question is, how do I personally deal with him from here? Aside from the legal stuff, how should I discipline him at home? I have taken his phone, his computer, television, and door off the hinges. We have had plenty of conversation and his words say he is remorseful, but his body language and attitude tell a different story. I just don't even know how to act around him now.
