Sleep over for a four year old at a hotel?

What age do parents usually let their kids have their first sleep over? My son’s best friend is turning four and she wants to sleep in a hotel for her birthday. She also wants her best friend (my 4 year old son) to go too. He’s only ever stayed over night with his grandmother so far and they live far away so he’s only done that 3 times.I’ve known the girl’s mom for years because Im also her babysitter while she works but I’m still so nervous. I do have an anxiety problem and I know I shouldn’t be so freaked out but I can’t help it. They’re going to be about 45 minutes away. Is four too young?
