Learning about my son’s priorities during an evacuation

The mountains of N.C. 10:00 PM.We’re up here evacuating from the hurricane. My wife and I finally got both the boys down. Their schedule has been off with the evacuation, but they’re troopers. I’m proud.I’ve just cracked a beer and sat down to try to relax and organize my thoughts. I take my first sip and hear a sob from the other room.“Daddy... Daddy!”My boy needs me. It must be tougher on him than I thought.I rush in as quickly and quietly as I can. “Hey buddy! What’s wrong?? You okay??”“Daddy... Shark! Daddy Shark!”You’ve gotta be kidding me... via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2xkMZIa
