Is there someone for everyone?

My 14 year old son is very intellectual and quirky. He has conventional good looks but his personality is not like a regular teenager. He is sweet and caring but also really interested in topics most teens would find boring like foreign policy, economics, history, biology, physics etc. In other words he would fit in great on the Big Bang theory (though he’s not into typical geekdom like Star Trek or Star Wars or lotr or gaming or whatever. ) he’s not much of a sport guys but he Is a runner and on the high school team.I know he’s only 14 and it might be silly to worry about this but girls are not very receptive to him. He talks to them but they aren’t ever interested in talking to him.He’s also not very good at making guy friends either.I’m browsing Facebook and tonight it’s all pictures and pictures of my friends kids getting ready for homecoming. My son stayed home.Sometimes my mom brain worries and wonders if there really is someone for everyone?
