I swear porn is an epidemic

My son just turned 11, he came downstairs after bedtime the other night visibly upset. Asked to talk to me alone. He spilled his guts that he learned about porn from one of his friends on the bus and came home and searched it up on his iPad. I have parental controls on everything and even have the browser turned off on the iPad. He was able to find blurred out images on his eBay app. He said he felt so guilty about doing that and he wanted me to know so he could feel better and have A clean slate. Said he didn’t like the way it made him feel and he just wants to play video games and be a regular kid. Then he continued to name all his friends that talk openly about looking at bad stuff on the internet. He’s a pretty sheltered kid to some extent and hasnt had a lot of unsupervised time at friends houses so I don’t think he’s seen anything too bad. I’m so thankful he felt comfortable enough to come talk to me but it’s so hard to watch your kids grow up.
