My 7 year old daughter is a bit of a tomboy plays with the boys mostly and is happy being a vey physical kid. What we are seeing is that traditional gender stereotypes are starting to crop up with her friends and her recently. She has said that she is a girl on the outside and a boy on the inside and her younger brother is the opposite ,we have talked to her about how people can be whatever they want, this seems age appropriate to me.At any rate this wouldn’t be as much of an issue but it seems like she is being left out from time to time and is really taking it hard. She threw an epic tantrum after a birthday party yesterday and talked about how she was the only girl and didn’t get to do stuff the boys did, not really true. To add she is a very bad looser and very bad winner but I think that is more age appropriate.I don’t want to get into schoolyard politics but any advice? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2PXWxjM
