My almost 1 year old has become more irritable and cries a lot more

She's 2 weeks away from 1 year old, and starting in the past 3 weeks, she's become noticeably more prone to crying for no good reason, and just overall more irritable: cries if she doesn't get what she wants, cries if she feels even slightly uncomfortable, cries when her dad holds her (never did that before), and also has much shorter attention span: would ask you to read her a book then after 1 page, would start looking away and ask you to do something else, etc.Overall, she's a lot less adorable and less cute than before. She also smiles a lot less now. It takes a lot more mental energy and frustration to take care of her now compared to her younger self.Even my mother who's the most gentle woman and is babysitting her during the day remarked that she's gained some temper and has become a piece of trash.What's going on?
