I checked the mail yesterday to find 3 separate bills from the hospital where my son was born. I kind of expected soon something soon since he had his 2 month check-up and got a couple shots, but I never expected the size of the bill I received. 2 of the bills were under $200 a piece, but the other was well over $2000.I understand these services aren't free but this is getting out of hand. We had a huge stack of bills over first month or two after my child was born and just got everything paid off. I was really looking forward to a slow-down, but apparently these physicians up at the hospital think they are worth $10,000/hour. My wife's deductible has already been met for the year ($7500), and now I'm working on the "family deductible" ($15000). I'm wishing so bad that I would have paid a little more attention to the insurance policy I chose last year because this is killing me. I'm just blown away with the amount of money this is costing me right now, and it's really making me re-think having another child.Has anyone else had similar issues? Is there anything I can do? Should I look into a different pediatric care center that won't charge me an arm and a leg to give my child vaccinations? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2f5P0iI
