Disney World! Except someone doesn't want to go

Recently, me and my wife announced that we're going to Disney World for winter break! Except my 12 y/o son is not thrilled. I've tried convincing him so many times, but he will not change his mind that doesn't want to go. I think it's a combination of an extreme fear of flying, no appeal to him and wanting to stay in NH for the holidays. And of course, the 8 and 5 year old girls would love to see the princesses and would never stay home. He's really responsible and it'd be easy for him to stay with grandparents or something, except I really want him to go and experience it.
