Toddler fell and damaged his gums. Will they grow back?

My 3 year old boy fell on his face a couple of days ago. He bashed his nose and front teeth and gums. We got him checked out by his doctor and he said his nose and mouth was fine, just his front tooth was a bit wobbly but he was confident it would firm up ok given time.Today his gums were looking pretty scabbed up and tonight some of the scab came off and I can see that his gums are quite far back. I'm going to take him to see a dentist but has anyone had any experience with this sort of damage? Will the guns grow back? via /r/Parenting http://ift.tt/2ujWALK
